What is personal data and how is it processed

How do we collect personal data and which data do we collect
Planticum collects personal information in several ways, but primarily directly from you. It is most often in connection with you making a purchase in our shop or contacting our customer service.
The same personal information can be stored in several different places for different purposes. This may mean that a data that has been deleted from a system because it is no longer necessary may remain in another system where it is stored with the support of consent or for another purpose where the personal data is still needed.
Information collected in connection with a purchase
When you as a customer buy something in Planticum’s store, Planticum needs to handle your personal data in certain respects in order to be able to fulfill the purchase and delivery conditions. Information that is processed about you is name and contact information (such as address, telephone number and e-mail address), social security number, payment information, customer number, purchase information and IP number. The purposes are to be able to carry out purchases and deliveries, and handling of complaint and warranty matters.
Planticum may also register information about your purchases in order to be able to carry out customer and market analyzes and to be able to provide you with customized offers. This processing that can take place to carry out customer analyzes is mainly based on your consent, which you can always revoke, see more about your rights below. For the purposes of being able to carry out customer and market analyzes, Planticum may coordinate information about you with other registers.
We also collect user-generated data such as click and visit statistics, as well as location information from e.g. mobile devices. Your personal data will be processed automatically in Planticum’s IT system. All handling of your data is encrypted with the highest level of security. Transmission of personal data is encrypted via SSL. Passwords entered by you are stored encrypted.
Planticum’s E-store will not disclose your personal information to any third party other than those who have a legitimate interest in receiving the information in order for Planticum to be able to fulfill its obligations within the framework of the purchase and delivery terms. Planticum may thus send your personal information to an external company that handles the purchase order, to Nordea to handle the purchase and also to Stripe to handle the purchase. However, Stripe itself is responsible for the processing of personal data that takes place when you use Stripe’s services. To handle the mail order, your personal information will also be sent to our logistics partners. Planticum will not store your personal data longer than is necessary to be able to handle the order, to fulfill its obligations to you as a customer and with regard to legal obligations that Planticum may have.

We collect personal information from you when you contact us, regardless of whether the case is via the e-store, other customer service or via social media. Customer service matters are handled internally. In the first instance, we collect the personal information needed to be able to answer your question or handle your case. Depending on how you choose to contact us, we can also collect contact information such as. email address or phone number. We may also need to handle purchase information and in some cases technical information such as your equipment. We also save correspondence for as long as necessary to handle the case.

How we protect your personal information
We and our partners have taken most organizational as well as technical security measures to protect your personal data. We work actively to comply with the Data Protection Regulations. We have several IT systems and functions that help us protect your personal data from illegal or unauthorized processing. Furthermore, we have internal routines that ensure that no more people than necessary have access to your information.
Who can we share your personal information with
In cases where it is necessary for us to be able to offer our services, we share your personal information with companies that are so-called personal data assistants for us. These are companies that process information on our behalf and according to our instructions. We have assistants who help us with: IT systems, customer database, customer service systems, payment solutions, printing and marketing.
When your personal data is shared with personal data assistants, it is only for purposes that are compatible with the purposes for which we have collected the information. We have agreements with the personal data assistants and check that all assistants can provide sufficient guarantees regarding security and confidentiality of personal data.
We also share personal data with companies that are independently responsible for personal data. Companies that offer payment solutions (Stripe), public transport of goods (postal operators) and government agencies are independently responsible for personal data and control how personal data is processed.
What your rights are as a registrant
According to the Data Protection Regulation, you have certain rights regarding the processing of your personal data. We have described what rights you have and what they mean below.
You have the right to know what personal data we process about you and can request a copy. You have the right to object to the processing and request that the processing of personal data be restricted. The treatment that is based on your consent as described above, you also have the right to revoke. You also have the right to have incorrect personal information about you corrected and may in some cases ask us to delete your personal information. Keep in mind that you as a member can change certain information directly on my pages. You also have the right to receive your personal data in machine-readable form and transfer data to another party responsible for data processing.
